MinFirmahytte (formerly Prodess) is a leading Norwegian platform specializing in managing corporate holiday homes ("Firmahytter") — similar to an "Airbnb for corporate assets" — connecting companies owning holiday properties with their employees, while letting companies monetize unused periods by renting to the public. This case study covers two distinct pieces of work: the customer-facing marketplace and the internal admin dashboard.


As Lead Product Designer, the challenge was balancing administrative complexity (employee leave, booking rules, property availability), a dual-market strategy (internal employee bookings + external commercial rentals), and operational efficiency (automating previously manual, error-prone resource management) — distilling a high-density, feature-rich backend into an intuitive, seamless dashboard, while also delivering a consumer-grade discovery/booking experience on the public side.
Employee leave, booking rules, and property availability all had to reconcile in real time.
